I had been sooo looking forward to this gig. Within minutes of getting there on one of the hottest days of the year we were made to feel pretty demoralised because another band wanted our slot and they are the next big thing apparently. It's tough to get up and sparkle, sing/play and entertain people when you've been made to feel that you are of little value. BUT we are NOT of little value and we gave the best performance we could whilst competing against the Red Devils dropping out of the sky, Pepper Pig's arrival and various other insane distractions. "Up the Ladder down the Snakes..." as Lille Rode sings!!
